IJAVVE Team!

We’re almost there, and there is still plenty of summer left! The excitement is building as we prepare to welcome everyone back to campus. In just a few days, our school will come alive again with the energy and joy our community brings each day. I hope you take these final days of summer to enjoy time with family and friends, recharge, and get ready for an amazing year together.

Returning to IJAVVE feels like coming home. I am grateful for the opportunity to rejoin a school community that has built a strong foundation of belonging, positive cultural identity, and service to others. This year, our heart work will be guided by our theme: Together, we believe in every child, cultivate belonging, and grow in community. (Believe. Belong. Grow.)

This is more than a theme; it is how we will show up for one another and our students. We believe in the potential of every child, create spaces where everyone feels they belong, and grow stronger through our shared commitment to each other. The first days of school are our opportunity to build connections, create trust, and ensure every student feels welcomed, valued, and ready to learn.

Our campus is also ready for a fresh start! With new paint throughout the school and the final touches being completed on our roof project, IJAVVE is looking refreshed and ready for a new year. A huge thank you to our custodial crew for your care and dedication in preparing our classrooms and campus. I will also be sending an invitation to join our Google Classroom for staff so we can stay connected and access important updates and resources throughout the year.
