IJAVVE Families,

What a great first full week of school! It was wonderful seeing our students learning, connecting, and growing together. Thank you for helping make it a successful week!

School Theme: Together, we believe in every child, cultivate belonging, and grow in community.

September is Attendance Awareness Month!

As we begin September, we want to remind our families that every day matters. Being at school every day helps students stay connected, keep learning, and be part of our school community.

If your child will be absent, please contact the school at 408-223-3750 or email dgeorge@mpesd.org to report the absence. Thank you for making attendance a priority and partnering with us for a great year!

  • Every Wednesday, students are released at 1:35 pm

Safety and Reminders

Drop-off and times: (School begins at 8:20 am in the classroom)

  • School opens for drop-off at 7:45 am in the cafeteria. Please Do Not drop your child off before this time if you are not part of the Sunrise program.
  • Do Not leave your car parked and unattended
  • Drive slow! It's a school, not a freeway (We have kids)
  • Allow yourself time to drop off your children. We do have staff who open car doors, so you do not need to park. This is open for all grades TK-8
